Reliability & Guarantees
Our reliability comes from our experience, it is our history.
The idea’s creator (a French English teacher) and his British wife are both still very much involved within our association.
We have built our programme up gradually, learning from each little problem in turn. We have the ‘mechanics’ of exchanges well under control and things run smoothly.
At least one member of our organisation meets all the children and their parents in the different countries concerned before doing the ‘matchings’.
Local Representatives meet new families in their homes and send us a report. The Local Representatives are families who have already completed an exchange. They are not paid for visiting families and do it in their own free time.
Schools are also involved and each head sends us a report.
Our Application form is the fruit of more than 30 years experience. A long form similar to the one that you will complete will also be completed, or already has been completed by your future exchange family.
People from all walks of life work together on our Administrative Committee. The committee members are elected and come to help us. They have no financial benefit, they are volunteers.
We have educationalists dealing with education and other specialists for accounts, insurance and legal matters.
It is the children who are of prime importance in our association, not the adults. We work with the interests of children as our most important consideration.
EN FAMILLE is a member of the U.N.S.E. (Union National des Organisations de Séjours longue durée à l’ Etranger) a well known French body that groups together selected organisations that deal with high quality long term exchanges. Please note that the U.N.S.E. is an honorary member of Office National de garantie des séjours et stage linguistiques. (A French national body that guarantees the quality of exchange organisations.)
Please consult www.unse.org
The U.N.S.E. is extremely selective about who can become a member. Members adhere to a Charter of quality which guarantees the quality of services offered to participants and their families.
