What we do

Since 1978 we have been organising six-month cultural exchanges for young children.
The two children spend a year together, 6 months in their own country and 6 months in their exchange partner's country.

No child has ever had severe schooling problems due to doing an exchange.

You are a stable, well-balanced family.

Your children's education and up-bringing is of paramount importance to you. You are ambitious for them. Give them the opportunity of having a wonderful adventure that they will  never regret and never forget.

For the first 12 years we only did our exchanges with primary school children. Then gradually more and more children told us that they wanted to do a second exchange in another country, learn a second language, and have another foreign brother or sister. So we complied with their wishes.
However it is easier for a 9 or 10 year old to do a successful exchange than it is for a 12 or 13 year old. A young adolescent is more complex than a 10 year old who has confidence in their new family.

70% of our exchanges are done in primary school.

25% in the first or second year of secondary school.
